We would have held on, and never let go...You are gone but not forgotten, and will forever be in our hearts. Every time an eagle flies over our heads, we know it is you checking up on us. Every time we hear the thunder in the middle of the night, we know that it is you beating on your box drum in heaven, and we are no longer afraid of the thunder. We love you and miss you Dad.

Mom, I miss you so much. I can't pick up the phone anymore and call just to say Hi. I can't call you to get your recipe for Mulligan Stew. It seems like I took so much for granted when you were here. I never thought my Mom would leave. Momma's are never supposed to leave their children. I just never thought you would go. That night in the hospital when you told me you were so tired, I knew you were, that is why I told you it was alright to go and be with Daddy. I know you are watching over us. Daddy, I miss you so much. It has been 12 long years. I was your Daddy's little girl. I remember my first dance was standing on your toes at your company picnic. The last thing that you said to me in the hospital before you left us was "We can dance if you want to" and I told you I was tired and we would dance later.
