Dear Poppa, I miss you so very much. Your are
so missed. I wrote you a note and my daddy stuck it in your pocket over your
heart it will always be with you. My note had a heart with my tears I shed
for you. I cry daily for you even if I am to young to undestand. For I am
6 yrs old now I know I miss my poppa. I know you was looking down from heaven
when I turned 6 yrs Aug. 3 rd a few days after you walked into your new home
in heaven. I know your were watching me from heaven. On my birthday and I
looked up to the sky and said I know you are here at my birthday party poppa.
You will never be far from me as long as I always have the memories of us
going to the movies, shopping at walmart you will always be with me. I know
we spend alot of time together when you was here and I miss that so much.

When I'm an Old Woman I Shall Wear
Purple
I shall wear Purple with a red hat which does
not go and does not suit me. And I shall spend my pension on Brandy and Summer
Gloves. And Satin sandals and say we've no money for butter. I shall sit
down on the pavement when i'm tired and gobble up samples in the shops and
press alarm bells. And run my stick along public railings And make up for
the sobriety of my youth. I shall go out in my slippers in the rain And pick
flowers in other peoples gardens And learn to spit.You can wear terrible
shirts and grow more fat And eat three pounds of sausages at a go or only
bread and pickles for a week And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and
things in boxes. But now we must have clothes that keep us dry And pay our
rent and not swear in the street And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers. But maybe I ought to
practica a little now? So people who know me won't be shocked and surprised.When
suddenly I am old and start to wear purple.
I will forever cherish the memories of my brother.
His life ended way too soon.
I will always love him.
Grandma loves & misses you so very much.
