I always think of you as you were, the great smiley face of the family. I miss you so very much your company, your smile and your probloms. I remember the first day you came home after the extensive stay in the hospital, and remember our last conversation. Mother has joined you and I hope your bright light helped the loving blind lady we both called Mom, come home. This is the 11th anniversary to the day of your death. I love you brother and miss you so very much

My darling husband, Phil..not a day goes by that I don't think of you. So much time has passed, and yet, it seems like only yesterday since you left me. I miss you so much! As Veteran's Day approaches, I remember when we served our country during Vietnam and how it affected us both. In a way I am glad that you are not here to see us in another war..something neither of us ever wanted to see again in our lifetime. The danger this time has entered into our country, wounding but not crippling us. How I wish you were here to hold me because I will admit I am scared and could use some of that strength you always managed to show even while you were terminally ill. So, my love, with my heart so full of our menories, I continue to carry on.......

He was an oracle of knowledge for me, always there, always ready to offer advice and support whenever needed. I think that I speak for everyone here when I say that we all miss him terribly. But take comfort that he is in no more pain and is looking down on us here smiling thinking about all the lives that he has created. The friends whose lives have been enriched by knowing him and the wonderful life that he undoubtedly has in heaven. God bless you dad, and may all your family that you created with mum bring you pleasure in the future.
